Shared environmental responsibility

Antarctica is the last preserve on the planet. But it is fragile. Melting ice, pollution, tourism — all these threats know no borders. Therefore, countries cooperate in the protection of the continent. The Environmental Protection Protocol (1991) prohibits the exploitation of minerals, introduces strict waste disposal standards.
